Calling all diet vixens!
 

'Ello everybody!

My name is Michelle, I'm 23 years old and from northern california. I've been chronically overweight my whole life, which I believe stems from my family's cure for everything... FOOD. I know better, but when you're so used to reaching for the handle on the refrigerator as often as a smoker reaches for a pack of cigarettes, whenever things get tough, it's so hard to get out of the cycle. My whole life seems to revolve around food and how food makes me feel, even though I try to act like it's really not that big of a deal... which this is my first step in REALLY trying to lose the weight. I'm 23, a beautiful girl, and I want to look good as well as feel good.

My long term goal is to go from my current weight, 250, to a curvy 160-150. I've actually dropped 30 pounds from my heaviest point (280), which I gained during and after a bad relationship. I do suffer from a spot of depression, which I think has a lot to do with my weight. I would LOVE to do internet pin-up modeling (NOT porn...lol) after I've reached my goal. I don't have a boyfriend at the moment, but I'd be lying if I said that wasn't PART of my motivation. I know, I know "if he really loves you, he'll love you for you" but c'mon! I wanna look good naked! :lol:

My other hobbies include music (I was a booker/promoter for about 3 years - yeah, the booze will add a few on... but I never bought my own *wink!*), having a great time no matter where I am (I was the kid with the cardboard box having a GRAND ol' time), books (Palahniuk, Sedaris, Eggers), poetry (Bukowski, DeGenet), and I'm a tad boy-crazy. ;)


It would be great to find a buddy with the same interests or in the same area; I frequently plan random day trips on BART to San Francisco for the heck of it just to get out of town (San Joaquin Valley/Sacramento, Man/Stk/Mod), walk around (exercise!), shop, and soak up city livin'; but if you live on Mars, need a diet buddy and think I fit the bill of someone who you'd like to talk to, pleaaaase! Let's DO this. :D
