[FONT=Comic Sans MS] Hi, I am from Houston ! I am forty years old, married to my high school sweetheart and have an eighteen year old daughter, and a fourteen year old son. I am going to loose 60 lbs. I joined a gym two weeks ago and am already addicted to it.
I am watching my food intake, not too many fat calories and almost no sugar calories. One tool that has been helpful this week is fitday. I go online to their website and post my food and excercise for the day. It counts the calories, fat, carbs, sugar, everything for me and also helps me keep track of the calories I'm burning. Great tool!!!
I mentioned that I joined the gym a few weeks ago......I actually go twice a day! I still can't believe it myself. Anyway, I work out on the treadmill for 50-70 minutes a day at the fat burner level five to six days a week. I also alternate upper body with lower body weight machine work.
I am more determined to do this than I have ever been. I haven't always been overweight, but it seems that I have always been dieting...make sense? I haven't posted much, but I lurk alot...LOL. I would be happy to be one of your buddies.

I did not even see this post, because yesterday I created a post for fellow Texans. My name is Roz and I also in Texas, Houston is where I call home. I currently weigh 190 and want to get down to between 135 and 140 pounds. I have 5 children all under the age of 14 and I work full-time.

I use to live in Katy for 16 years. Unfortunately, we moved back to Michigan and I miss Texas on a regular basis. Still have family and friends there......

I hope all is going well with your dieting. Have you ladies started thinking of Christmas strategies yet? I really did not eat too much for Thanksgiving so I am hoping that the same goes for Christmas. I did not even have any apple pie. But for Christmas, I think that a small piece of applie pie wouldn't hurt what do you think? Keep warm......the worst is yet to come tonight.

Hey i use to live outside of austin (near Georgetown) ! LONGHORNS RULE! but unfortunatly i am now residing in oa with my mom (grumble*mom made me leave :tantrum: *grumbles) but my sis and dad and his side of the family are still there, Miss Texas ALOT!!!! i am not a big fan of teen temp. for MONTHS on end. well i am here to lose 59 lbs for my 16th birthday next summmer i want to be around 120 ish

Hey fellow Texans,

Where is everyone? I was off Friday, had Christmas parties at my children's school. I am the room mother for son in Kindergarten. I thought it would be harder to watch what I eat on the weekends especially this close to Christmas, but for today, I was cleaning with my children that I did not have breakfast and only a little lunch. Dinner was a little more but not much. How is everyone else doing?
