new here..

  • Hi! everyone! a little about ME!

My name is Sami (22) very happily married to Joe since 2.23.02. We have a beautiful redhead daughter named Debbie, she will be 2 (8.11.05). She is a very wild but loving child. We just welcomed our 2nd daughter Kaytie (6.24.05), we are exclusively nursing

I'm a big girl and it sucks!. Right now, I weigh 310 . I have done Jenny Craig in the past and had great results. 20lbs in about 6.5 weeks, but umm also ended up pregnant both times I was on it. So I have been banned from Jenny Craig . No seriously I cant afford $100 a week on food, OUCH! in the pocket book.

My grandma and I are going to do Weight Watchers. I need to start doing more, then just nursing and chasing my toddler down.. So we will start walking and then I will go to the gym.

but here is some background on how I become me. It all started in Feb 1994, my mom Debbie (my daughters name sake) was told she had advanced breast cancer at the age of 33. Well advanced was a understatement, my mom died 2 weeks later (march 1st, 1994).

Before my mom died, I was about 60lbs and 11 years old. Losing my mom just killed me inside, she was my best friend. I dropped into a great depression. By the time I was in high school ( 3 years later) I was over 200lbs. My escape for my sadness was food, and alot of it.

In 2000, I met my future hubsand. He was great to me, he helped me alot. I reliezed, that there was other things out there in this world. So I slowly but surely got out of my long dark days.

But then! I got comfy with my new found love and gained more weight. When I got pregnant with my first daughter I was 280.

so that is my life story and I'm shoting for the goal of 160lbs but doing it slowly.

sorry this is so long. I get to typing and I cant stop lmao

cant wait to become great friends!

    ~edit to add~ I'm AP mama!
  • Welcome aboard. I am doing WW also. Your anniversary is my birthday LOL. You have your hands full and I know from experience. I have one that is 22 months and Odessa will be 3 in October. I have mountains of recipes and collecting the WW cookbooks so if you can't find a recipe on the forum just slot off a request and I will see if I have one. That is one of the joys of WW-we all eat it-everyone in the house. I even had company over the other day and made them chicken enchilada WW recipe and everyone said how good it was. If you don't tell people, they won't know. Looking forward to getting to know you and watch us disappear!
