Hello everyone!

Well here I am! I love this site and I am finally back on track. I have come a long way. A little over a year ago I decided I had enough, I wanted to have energy and I wanted to look good. I began Atkins and lost about 70+ pounds in about 8months. I then got a little too relaxed with my eating and went from 180 to 202. I would go back on plan drop ten and then proceed to gain it back....without cheating!! I then rededicated and went on a clean induction only to gain ten pounds which put me right back at about 202. It was obviously time for a change. So I decided to count calories, limit fat, and still only eat the good carbs. I started counting on Monday this week and am proud to report that I am already down to 194!! :D I do exercise everyday, not real strenous but I go for walks or bike rides almost daily. I also do pilates atleast 4 days a week. I have reduced my calories to 1400-1500 a day and boy I must have totally retrained myself becasue you can eat a lot of whole, good, healthy foods for 1500 calories!! I would love to buddy up if anyone is interested!!

HI Angie, I am doing the same as you basically. Just trying to eat right, good carbs, portion controle. And I exercise for 30-40 minutes at least 4xweek. Nothing strenesious either, just walking and riding my bike. I just got my bike out and started riding again. I rediscovered I had thighs! I though with all the walking my legs were pretty strong. I found it's good to mix up the exercise to hit the spots that get neglected. I do lift weights for upper body strength. Again, nothing heavy, just 5-8-10 pounds. But it really makes a difference. My arms are getting less flabby and i'm seeing a little defination! If you still need a buddy let me know.
