I have a plan!!

Well all, after much contemplation I have come up with a plan that I think will work for me. I have tried several plans in the past and each had it's merits and pitfalls. So, what I did was take from each one what worked for me and kind of threw it together in a plan. Tell me what you think good or bad.

South beach phase 2 based as far as carb choices (1 per day). 1400 calories and 40-45 grams of fat (worked when I was on the Xenical), no white stuff (only unprocessed whole grains, no white rice, sugar, etc.).

30 min of yoga stretching in the morning
1 hour of stationary bike ( 2 30min sessions)
30 min of low impact step aerobics
30 min of yoga meditation in the evenings
6 days a week
resistance training every other day
and a day of rest on Sundays

Also I plan to keep a food journal, cook meals ahead a freeze them so I will have stuff ready and not get discouraged about cooking all the time. I think it'll work, but only time will tell. What're your thoughts?

Hi

Good forl you! The first thing you have to do is lmake a plan, and most ofl yours sounds good. The food part sounds good, just don't dip too low on the calories and make sure you plan on some "treats". Plan to give yourself rewards for every 5 pounds or so that you loose, or for reaching some goal. The only thing I see a problem with is the exercise. You are going to burn yourself out with that much! It's a great stat, but if you can't continue it just aim for an hour exercise and some weight lifting. The cooking ahead and freezing food is great. Making a menu a week at a time has helped me. I can shop for the things I need for that week and I don't have to wonder every day what I am going to eat.

Remember "fail to plan, plan to fail"
