Hi all- just want to say Hello-

and introduce myself. My name is Jean and I am a working Mommy to two wonderful toddlers. I am 5'2" and weigh 167lbs. For the past two weeks I've been getting up at 4:30 to workout (I workout to Cathe tapes- love her!) and was really doing well watching what I eat. I follow the BFL plan but check my food against WW points to make sure I don't eat too much. But then I just lost it over the weekend. Spmepne mentioned that I looked as though I lost weight and I immediately sabatoged my efforts not just that day but for the next three days. I need to figure out why I keep doing that  Anyway have any tips or suggestions for how to stay on track no matter what? (And as I type this I know the answer is to just do it and stop looking for other answers :^: )

Hello to everyone- I would love to become involved with some group to check in with and also to have a buddy!

Have a great night all :)

BTW- where do all of you get those great timelines from?

Thanks-
Jean

Hey Jean!
I'm not sure there is an answer on how to stay on track. I think you're right, you just do it. You're going to get off track sometimes though. Use it as a learning experience. When I get off track, I hate the way I feel. So now I when Im about to get off track, I try to think of how bad I feel when I do. It doesn't always work though :)
You can get your weight tracker by going to the USER CP, then click on EDIT SIGNATURE...you can get it from there.
Well, I'm 5'2" too. The weight just doesn't look right on me because Im so short. Anyway, I really think you're in the right place for support. I don't know what I'd do without this site!

Love,
Deanne

Amen!!! I hear you. I am the same way... I do really "good" for a few days or a week, and then POOF!!! I am in the kitchen eating whatever I can get my hands on! and of course I feel guilty then I rationalize that I deprived myself for so long and I deserve it? What am I thinking??? I ask myself this question all the time and unfortunately the answer has not come to me. But I will let you know when it does, I am sure it will come to me anyday. I am new here too and it is wonderful to know that I am not alone. None of us are alone on this journey we call "DIETING".
