I'm new, and could use a buddy
:wave: Hi everybody! Just found this site today, and knew this was for me. I have been struggling with my weight for about 9 years (i'm 36 now), and I'm ready to get control over it. I would love to have an exercise buddy, or a weigh-in buddy to share successes (or maybe even set-backs--but mostly successes :D ) I could also use some motivation, and would be willing to give it, too! I have been going to the gym to get my exercise in (at the god-awful hour of 5am!!) but could use some help with counting calories, and just will-power in general. As you may have guessed, I'm in love with everything that is bad, bad, bad :devil: (ie: carbs, chocolate, desserts, chips) If you think we might be able to help each other, I'd love to have you as a buddy.

I want to say HI to another twin mom! I have two sets (see sig). I weigh in on Mondays, have you set a WI day? I will definantly be posting my losses(and gains). I am 44 and have been struggling with my weight since I was in my 20's. Welcome, and good luck! :grouphug:

No, I haven't picked a WI date,yet...Actually, I'm a bit of a scale-a-phobe, as I'm sure many can relate to that :) I must bow to you, as I am humbled by your presence as a mom to 2 sets of twins. How do you find the time to do anything?! How long have you been with 3FC? There is so much on this site, I'm getting overload. It's going to take me days to navigate...Anything you really like, to help point me in the right direction?

I WI on Monday's because that is the day my Dr. started me on the diet - I usually sneak a peek during the week tho - Well I find the time because, if you noticed, my two sets are 10yrs apart - Thought we were done, but someone had other plans :D

I just found this site today and I thought I'd try to find a buddy. I am a 37 y/o SAHM of 2 daughters - 8 and 7 and have struggled with my wt. since pregnancy. I just got a call for my 20 yr HS reunion - gasp! Hard to believe, but true. The years really sneak up on you. I realized that if I wanted anyone to recognize me at the party, I'd better get on the stick. I have a goal of 149, but have about 80 to lose. Obviously I won't make my goal by this summer, but I wanted to be moving in the right direction. I would be happy to be your buddy if you'd like. Kelly |
