I'm 5'7". I've yo-yo'ed so much that I have my personal size down to a science! :p

Apparently I wear higher sizes than a lot of you wear at comparable weights. But I absolutely refuse to wear clothing that is tight. For example, I won't wear jeans unless I can fit a finger inside my waistband. (In addition to the waist, of course! :p )

I'm 5' 7", 180 pounds. Large frame. Currently I wear size 12 pants, size Large tops. The 12's are getting tight - I'm pushing size 14 or already there in pants, depending on store/brand. Chest was never large - it's always been my broad shoulders that made me wear larger blouses and jackets. And I was always removing the shoulder pads from stuff - thank goodness the 80's are over and you don't see those very much at all anymore!

This thread really shows two big things: One, all the unique bodies out there! Two, the huge discrepancy in sizing between stores and brands. The latter is not an issue up there with world hunger, but I'd sure like there to be some consistency! It would be really nice to order from a catalog with some confidence.

Well I thought this thread was pretty interesting, I always wondered by looking at others what size they may be, instead of asking...I'm sure you all know what I mean...Well I weigh 180 and people are so shocked when they hear how much I weigh because they say "how, no way! how could you weigh that? you definatly don't look it"...I get that all the time even when I was @ my top weight 202! Must be that good old muscle from my good old figure skating days.

Enough of that.....I am heavier set in my thighs and butt and broad shoulders a little breasts... he he!!! goal weight<----boob job here I come!!!!!

So right now I am a size 11/12 in pants and I still fit my highest size 13/14, but they get really baggy t/o the day.....even when I 1st put them on they are baggy....but I will wear them b/c well no money too buy a lot of new clothes yet...
