In Serious Need of a Serious Buddy

  • I'm not a newbie here, but I am ready to start anew. Last year I lost about 40 pounds with the help of 3FC, but I've gained about about 8 since September, and I'm just plain sick of it. My life has been changing, and will be changing more in the upcoming months (new job, moving, hopefully going back to school), and I know that's going to make it even harder to lose. I've tried about every diet under the sun, and counting calories is what had worked for me in the past, so I'm sticking with that, but I'm going to add in some low-carb/South Beach strategies.

    Personal stats: 24 (25 in May), not married but have a committed boyfriend, north-central West Virginia, about 40-45 pounds to lose

    As for a buddy, I really need someone who is going to stick with me and keep me accountable, someone who will be there nearly every single day, whether here, email, instant messaging, in person, on the phone, whatever works. I need some serious help. And rest assured I will do the same for you.

  • I need the same. I'm 30 and need to loose 40 pounds. I lost 25 last summer and gain 10 back since xmas because of work stress...so...I'm starting new monday morning...got 1 day to get everything set up in the fridge and in the house for training.
