It all begins today.......Need a buddy or buddies!!

Hello, I have made the decision that it is now time to get these extra 85 pounds off. I'm tired of feeling miserable all the time.
I'm the mom to 4 VERY active children and teach full-time. So needless to say there just isn't much time for me! :dizzy:
To make this journey easier I would love to have and need as much support as I can possible get.
I look forward to meeting others who are going through this life changing process at the same time as myself.

Hi bhteach and tkay90!
I just joined this group last month and love it here. I'm sure you'll find a lot of inspiration and help to get you through those tough times!
I too am a Mom to 4 very active boys, and on January 17 of this year, decided to do something about my weight. I was just sick and tired of not being able to do the things I really wanted to do with them. I even turned down a free trip to Hawaii in February with my son's baseball team...just bacause I didn't want to be known as the "Mom who wear's pants to the beach and hides under the umbrella" Never again!!
If you ever just want to talk or need a buddy, I could sure use one too. Write back here or just private message me. Hope to hear from you soon!

tkay90 and snoskater,
Thanks for the support. I have read and listened to enough people to realize that it takes support from others to be successful at this journey. I look forward to seeing your progress as well as mine.

snoskater you gave up a trip to Hawaii. WOW!! I also am not looking forward to this summer on the lake and boat looking the way I look now. So that is my incentive. I would like to have lost 20lbs. by Memorial Day. I think that is doable!!!!

Hi everyone.....I'm really new at this. I've never belonged to anything like this before. But, I'm DESPERATE to lose these 25 lbs- and I've been looking at this site for a while and I think it's going to be just what I need. I have a unique life situation (I think it's unique). I am 24 years old, married for 2 years, no children, and I work as a nanny 50-60 hours a week. I love to exercise, but my husband is skinny as a rail and has a lightning fast metabolism and it's taken me 25 lbs to realize I can't live like him. I'm looking forward to checking in everyday!
