New girl....looking for buddies!

I'm from Ottawa, Ontario Canada...not sure if there is anyone from my area but I'd like to share my weight loss journey with someone! I'm a 30 years old single mom with knee problems. I am starting Jorge Cruise 8 minutes in the morning program this coming monday. I have planned out my menues for the week and schedule. I think I'm ready! :)

Hello moonlightstar. I am also 30 (at least for the nexta single mom of two, (Mikey is 8 and Anthony 2) and have had two surgeries on my right knee. I am six months post-op, and am facing a left knee surgery in the fall. I live in the middle of Chicago, Illinois and Milwuakee, Wisconsin. Well this is funny but I am also 30 and I just found out that I have 2 torn ligaments in my left knee :dizzy: I go back on March 16th to see if I am gonna need surgery. I have ALOT of weight to lose and maybe we can do it together. I cant do any exercising that requires impact so I have a Nordictrak Recumbent stationary bike on order and it should be here on the 16th, so I can exercise with that. I am excited!!!!

Hi Toni! Sparkle City is great! At least it is when I am taking care of myself. Then all is good with the world!
I work with a girl that is attending Converse College. It is a small world huh?
And I think that your ankle and hip should definitely count :lol: I actually have a bad ankle too..lol. I fractured it at the same time I hurt my knee and just got the cast off about a week and a half ago. Hope to talk to ya again soon.
