Need a buddy
 

I am new to the site and am really excited about having a support group. I am 23 y/o and having been struggling with my weight and self confidence issues since I can even remember. I've tried numerous diets, and outrageuos things and really need help. I want to lose 50 lbs and really want to be able to talk to people or someone who understands what's it's like to live in the world that I do. I need help loving myself. :angel:

Im new to this site too. I need a buddy to help me as well. I have lost 70 lbs and but I have a long way to go. I have another 100 lbs to go. I am a 39 yr old caucasion female from West Virginia. I am a nurse and I'm also attending college 2 days a week. I have found TOPS to be helpful to me and I encourage you to see if there is a TOPS group in your area and look into that. They meet once a week and weigh you privately. If you gain a pound you pay a .25 cent fine and the one who loses the most that week get the money that people paid out in fines. No one knows how much you weigh but the weight recorder and they do not share that with anyone. It is fun and it helps me to keep on track knowing that I am accountable to someone other than myself. Everyone is in the same boat as you are and everyone is there because they need to lose weight and need support in doing it.
