New to 3FC
I'm 34 and have gone most of my life with my weight up and down. Right now I'm definately on an 'UP'. I left my husband in October, and moved in with my mom. We weren't eating too healthy there and my 4 year old daughter and I have both gained weight. I've developed an obsession with snacking, which I haven't had a problem with in years. About 7 years ago I lost 65 pounds, but in the last year or so I've put most of it back on. Even when I was pregnant I only gained about 21 pounds. I've gotten so depressed over gaining this weight (AGAIN). I moved out of my mom's house and when I'm here at home alone, with my daughter visiting her dad, I start to get more depressed. I hate it!! I just need a vent. Thanks!!

Hi Tam.
I also gained alot of weight when I left my husband. I am also a snacker and I know, it is hard when you sitting at home alone. I don't know what you are doing to lose weight but if you find activiites that keep your hands busy..that might be helpful becuase you have your mind and hands on other things. I wish you the best. |
Hey Tam,
I wish I could get some time alone!! I called off work today to get my act together and DH keeps texting and calling. I should have never told him I was home! My favorite things to do when I'm alone is get a shower with nobody flushing the tolit or running in (MOM!) I know it doesn't take up alot of time, but it sure is nice. I also love to rent movies, grab the low fat snacks, get the pj's on, and sit in bed and just relax! Oh, I also love to read, this is really hard to find time to do as well. My advice, take advantage of the alone time and enjoy yourself, try not to feel down about it, but look forward to it. My weight is always up and down, and DH and I have had our share of splits. I usually feed my depression and well, I've over fed it this time around. So I decided to get up, dust myself off and get back into shape!! Feel free to vent all you like, it always makes me feel better!!!!! |
