Newbie in Tennessee
 

Hello all!!!

I live in the Nashville area and just wanted to introduce myself! I am here looking for encouragement and support on my weight loss journey! (duh) :dizzy: I am 30 years old, happily married and have 2 sons ages 2 & 7. I quit smoking 13 months ago, and managed to pack on about 40 pounds. I know, I basically substituted my smoking for eating junk. Anyway, just thought I'd say hey!!!

My name's Samantha. I live near Chicago. I am 23 years old, also happily married but no children yet. I am also new to the webiste. I just joined today. I have a similar goal to yours...47 pounds. I have been yo-yo-ing with my weight for the last 4 1/2 years. I lose a few pounds, then gain it all back & then some. Finally, because of recommendations from friends and co-workers, I have decided to start Weight Watchers. My official start date is tomorrow. I am looking for any support, encouragement, or tips I can get. And I am also willing to give any help I can. Good luck!!
