New person
Hey everyone,
I found this site while looking online for smoothie recipes. I am trying to lose around 50lbs. I know it's not going to happen overnight. I thought I would give this site a try because I can do better with support. My parents support me but since my mom is overweight, her way of supporting is by telling me how fat I am. So that doesn't work so well. I love dancing and aerobics, as long as it changes and isn't repetitive the whole time, so if anybody knows any good videos. I look forward to meeting everyone. Kelli |

i understand where u are coming from, having to lose 50lbs... and having very "supportive" parents. my parents and grandmother on occasion, would tell me i was fat (when i was like 12) and had to lose weight.... but now that my dad is in the same boat he has shut up *real* quick. dont let them drag you down!!! you will find people on this site incredibly supportive in all the positive ways! and good luck on your goal! peace Irina :) |

Yea I am just starting to. But the worst thing is that my mom is overweight, and so is my grandma.. But they try to act like its not an issue... Like I shouldnt go on a diet just because they never did. They try and make me believe I look good even when I know I don't. I know its not exactly the same thing. But it is really hard to go on a diet with people telling you you look fine and to stop complaining.. and never taking you seriosly.
