My name is Alana andI could do with some support with my weight loss journey. I am 48 and have been dieting sence I was 13 and still losing the battle NEED HELP . I work in Childcare and look after around 24 a day so I am on the go all the time .Iam starting arobics tonight and I walk as well but I still carnt fine the right diet Tring the low GI at the moment if anyone has any other advice I am listen ;)

HI Alana, have you considered or even heard about the South Beach diet? it also asks you to stay away from high GI type foods. I'm on the SBD and we have several other Aussies who post with us at the SB forum. There's lots of info about the diet and recipes, too.

There are many forums and places for daily chat, support, etc. Look around and make yourself at home. Welcome.

you know I have never ever looked at this plan? what is it? The SBD? What does it entail? is there a website you would recomend?

Here are some links for more information about the South Beach Diet. It is a 'good carbs, good fats' way of eating, not a fad diet. Also, of course here at 3FC we have plenty of info at the South Beach forum.
