Just introducing myself

Hi,

I am new to the cite and wanted to introduce myself. I am 25 years old and have been struggling with my wieght since i was 18. I am currently hovering around 127 (I am 5'1). I have been to scared to weigh myself.

In the last year alone, i lost 10 lbs (down to 117), and have gained it all back. I have a problem with binge eating. I have been doing weight watchers on my own for the last 3 weeks, and i dont think i have lost a pound. I am forcing myself to join tomorrow, bc i need to get on the scale. I go up and down constantly and i getting so frustrated, i would be happy to get down to like 122 and just stay there. Oh, i also exercise 3 times a week.

Just looking for some inspiration and companionship on my journey! :) Cindy

Hi Cindy. I'm pretty new too!! Although I am your height I have a much longer way to go on my journey (I was at 167 last weigh in)...

I know you mentioned you have been doing WW on your own for the last 3 weeks. How many calories and fat grams have you been consuming?

Hi Shelli,
I have been sticking to around 20-23 points a day, i dont even use my AP's. Then, on Saturday i will splurge and use the majority of my flex points. The weekends are the hardest for me.

I've been eating alot at Panera Bread, bc according to the nutritional facts on thier webcite, i can eat a variety of different things and stay in my points. I havent been tracking actual calories or fat grams, should i start doing that? how many calories should i be averaging, i dont know? I think my metabolism just slowed down again and thats why i am having so much trouble but i am not sure. :)

Cindy,

I know my metabolism has definitely slowed down some (I am 29). As far as calorie intake goes I stick to the weight X 10 rule. So right now my weight is at 167 so my cal limit is 1670. As my weight goes down so does my calorie consumption. It seems to be a good way to keep up with your body's caloric changes as your weight goes down.
