I'm new to this site
 

Hi, my name is Ermie and I am 3 weeks post-op, a little tired, but I feel wonderful. The first couple of days were a little painful, but I since I have a high tolerance for pain, I adjusted very well. I went back to work 12 days later, mainly because I was soooooooo bored being home, and for the simple fact, I wasn't entitled to collect disability.

My son, "changedman", has his surgery 4 weeks before me. I wanted us to be in the hospital together, but it didn't work out that way. It was for the best, so this way I saw what he was going through.

I went to my first post-op meeting the other night, and found it very informative. I definitely will be attending more of them.

I would like to hear from those of you regarding your surgery. Looking forward to chatting.
