Have Drive Need Buddy

Hi everyone! I am a 27 year old single mother. I decided a little over a month ago that this was the year that I am going to change my life. I will be graduating college next May (2005) and will be moving to the Bay Area in California. I have been overweight my entire life. I am now considered "extremely obese". About a month ago I weighed in at a whopping 316 pounds. I have had a gym membership for just over 3 weeks. I have done my best to incorporate exercise as my daily routine. I am the type of person who is all or nothing. I have always been this way. anyway I work out at least 2 hours a day/6 days a week. (1 hour cardio/1 hour weights) I just started a cardio kickboxing class and its really fun! I am very motivated to loose weight and change my life this year. I am looking for a friend that I could be supportive to and someone that will encourage me when I need it. Today I weighed in at 295 pounds. So far a loss of 21 pounds. Well good luck to everyone, happy exercising.

Congratulations on breaking into the 200's! You said you are lifting weights every day. Are you alternating which parts of your body are being worked out?

Welcome and congrats on your loss to date. That is *wonderful*! You are currently at where I started out. It's nice to see so much enthusiasm. If anything, it helps motivate me more as well. *grin* In fact, I'd be more than happy to buddy up with you if you would like.

Good luck in your quest and I look forward to getting to know you. :)
