New and in need of a buddy
 

Hello, I'm new to this board, but not to the world of trying to loss weight. I'm 16 and I weigh 245 pounds, I want to weigh between 128-132 lbs. I'm having trouble staying on a plan, I can't really do it alone. My friends call me Kitten, my real name is Kori. I love to have fun, but I can't always do the things I want. I don't go shopping. okay...to make a long description short. picture a guy...or better yet a chick that acts like a guy and you have me. I am 5'5" shoulder length curly (naturally)brown hair, blue/green eyes, I have to wear glasses, hoping to get contacts...someday. I am an animal lover, I also love movies, video games, books. I love meeting new people and hopeful great new friendship. I'm easy to get along with...I want to loose wait before my 17th birthday *April 9th 2005* thats about 10 months away, i want to get to my mini goal of 189 before than, so that I can get clothes for my birthday. I doubt alot of things. I need a buddy that will make me do this, listen to me and be there for everything. I'll stick by you till the end, till death!

Well, I'm 5"3 with brown (or blonde when I can afford it) hair past my shoulders. I have green eyes. I currently weigh 156 but my goal is 130. In September 2000 I weighed 235, so I've been at this for a while. Actually, I've gained 6 pounds from where I was last year, and I'm starting to feel discouraged, which would be why I need a buddy.

Damn, my stupid boss is coming. I gotta go. Write back if you're interested! If nothing else, we can just be friends who talk about movies and books.

Hey there kitten!

Hugs hun. I know how you feel. It is so hard for me to get clothes too. People don't seem to think in the UK that people that are bigger can aslo be tall. You are either taller and skinny here or short and bigger. lol.
I'm Lauren and I'm 19. And again I am no stranger to the hope of weight loss. I've just started a new plan which is the slimming world plan as it has done wonders for my friend.
I hope to lose about 30 ish pounds in total. While this isn't as much as other it is a lot to try and do.
I hope we can become friends and be in touch about this and help each other out.
