I Need Buddy Support:)
Hi, my name is Danielle, I'm 21 and in the Tampa area. I just moved here and I don't know anyone. I desperately need a weight loss buddy. My boyfriend would be a terrible one because he is so damn skinny, lol! I need someone who knows how I feel and what I am going through to help motivate me. I'll motivate you too! Help! I am tired of being fat.

If you are just looking for online support, I'd be glad to give it to you. I am 22 yrs. old, from Massachusetts, and I too am sick of being fat. My bf is 6'2" and weighs 165 soaking wet :p He can maintain that weight eatting whatever he wants and as much as he wants...he has a high metabolism, we should all be so blessed! :lol: I started trying to lose weight in March. I joined Curves and on my first weigh in/measure I was at 220.5 - yuck... I didn't lose much my first month, but as of now, I have lost about 18# total... I'm getting so close to "ONEderland" and I can't wait to make it there! I don't know how much weight you have to lose, but I want to get down to like 170, so I have quite a bit still to lose myself and could be here for you if you'd like ;) |
You sound like my perfect weight loss buddy! But...I think I have you beat. My boyfriend is 6' and 135! Damn him! LOL. I weighed 210 yesterday. Bleh. My ideal weight is no less than 160. I would love to be 170-175. That's a good weight for me. Of course, when I weighed that much, I thought I was fat...if I only knew...argh. We have very similar goals! So...how do you want to do this? Through journals, email? Heh, I'm not quite sure:) It's so nice to have support. This site is great. Thanks!

Hi Heather! Welcome to our little group. I too want to lose weight so it will be easier for me to get pg when the time comes. I also want the pregnancy itself to so smoothly and being overweight causes more complications. I don't have PCOS, I do have my own issues though, mostly that have to do with my blood and veins... I have PCS (Pelvic Conjestion Syndrome) and whenever I say I have PCS people think I meant to say PCOS :lol:
Well I hope you ladies all had a good night... I went to a PawSox game last night and I went over my calories :p I usually stay just under 1200 cal but yesterday I went to over 1300 and I didn't go to the gym - bad, bad... Tonight I will go to the gym no matter what... ;) |

Morning ladies!
Just wanted to check in with y'all. I went to the gym last night and then tried out the pilates tape I ordered which arrived yesterday...it is 3 10-minute target workouts (belly, butt, thighs) and a full body workout... i just tried the thighs and it was over before I knew it. I also stayed under 1100 calories yesterday which was good because I went over my 1200 for the past two days...so I am getting back on track. Tonight is the gym and then water aerobics, fun stuff! I'll check in with again later ;) |

How have you all been? Post and let us know. I'm feeling really sleepy at the moment. I need someone to tell me to get off my lazy arse and excersise!!! I'll tell you the same, lol! Pilates...I had a pilates tape once...accidentally left in 3000 miles away. Heh. It was pretty tough. Definetely a good work-out. Keep it up!

I was kind of sick for two days...so I didn't excercise! But I'm back on track now and feeling better. How have you ladies been? I will be leaving today for Connecticut and then a road-trip to California where I'll probably eat like crazy! Nah...I'll tone it down, lol. But I love driving cross-country and eating at greasy little cafes in the middle of nowhere! I really do! I don't know if I will have internet access or not, but I'll try:) I'm bringing my workout video to California and I'm going to swim my butt off in all the hotel pools! Yeah! LOL. Ok, I think I need some sleep. Ciao!

I don't know if I told y'all that Tim's family was coming up this weekend, but they did and the weekend with Tim's mom and sister was great. They are just so nice! We went up to Maine on Saturday and to a cookout at my family's house on Sunday. Yesterday I left them alone so they could have some time with just Tim and while they were out, they bought me wizard of oz magnets because "they saw them and thought of me" - how sweet are they? I went out to dinner with them last night and then we just sat around the apartment for a while. Tim is driving them back to the airport today... I wish I could see them off, but my sister is on vacation this week, which means I can't take the day off, so I said my good-byes last night. This morning I went to the gym first thing...I wanted to get my workout in now so I could spend my ENTIRE afternoon with Tim since we hadn't had any personal time to just snuggle with his mom and sister staying at his apartment...anywho I weighed myself while I was at the gym, and I actually cried...HAPPY tears... I saw 198.75#!!!! I DID IT!!! I'm in ONEderland!!! After a holiday weekend and not going to the gym since Friday...I am soooo excited! :dance: :hat: |
Back from Vacation...
Wow, it's been about three weeks, eh? I've been on a family road trip for much too long, lol. First, I flew up to Connecticut and then drove (with my mom and sister) to California and back for my cousins' high school graduation. Oi. We spent a total of eight and a half days in the car! I didn't get a chance to do any kind of working out the whole time. I haven't weighed myself yet, but I'm not looking forward to it. And to top it off, I think my skinny boyfriend got skinnier! I wasn't here to feed him, lol. I'm exhausted, but determined to get back into working out and feeling better. I really feel like crap. Bleh. I hope you all have done better than I have in the past few weeks. Let me know! Sorry to have been gone so long, but I didn't have internet access most of the time. Good luck, ladies! Ciao.

I was reading one of your previous messages, anyway after I had my son who is now 26 I weighed in at 140 the day I had him - I would KILL to weigh that again, anyway, after I had him I was down to 122 and couldn't believe how FAT I was - man would I give anything to be that "FAT" again!!! Anyway hang in there and get back on track and you will be fine. God Bless You.

I have been going great while you were gone...gone to the gym 5-7 times each of the 3 weeks... Gone to water aerobics 4 times, and starting doing pilates for my thighs... And eating has been going well for the most part... if you don't count yesterday.... I decided to make yesterday's cook out a "free day", onmly I think I went a bit too far.... I know I wasn't counting my calories for the day, but I think I was trying to cram in as many calories as I could... I was more than bad, I was AWFUL! Today I have to be extra good to make up for going over board with my day off! :^: |
I'm glad you are doing so well! I don't even want to talk about how I did over the vacation, lol! I have been pretty sick for the past three or four days, so I didn't start working out again until today. It's been so long. It seemed so much harder! I'm going to stick with it though. I am now a blonde...and I want to be a HOT blonde, lol...workouts, here I come:) I'm not sure if I have gained weight or not. Before I left, I was weighed at a clinic and they said 207...but...the scale at my mom's said 217 and so does my scale at home! I don't want to believe that! Hopefully it's just water weight from spending four+ days in the car (each way). Oh well...back to square one! Damn. I guess I will have to try harder this time.

Blonde? Wow that takes guts! I would make a sickly looking blonde because I don't have the skin tones for it... I bet you will be a hot blonde in no time! After all that is just the way you see yourself and to others you probably already are a hott blonde...
Isn't it tough knowing you have to get back to your normal routine after a vacation? The sooner you start though the easier it will be to get back into the swing of things! :tread: :strong: |

I worked out yesterday, but have already lost inspiration today, lol. I think a better sleep schedule is in order. I'm still pretty off balance from all the travel. I'm gonna try to work out today, but first I have to attack the huge pile of dishes in my sink...not to mention the laundry. Argh. LOL. But housework is a tiny work-out in itself. Heh. |
