Weight Watcher, need to lose 50:) Any buddies for me?
Hi all!
I could really use a dedicated buddy to chat with frequently for encouragement and support and I offer the same in return. Here are my stats; I'm looking for anyone similar to my weight and goals (anywhere in that range) who might identify with the setbacks I run into. Anybody who is chatty is cool
Moi:
I am female, 31
My highest weight was 200, I am right now 182
My goal is 131 but I'd be really happy to reach 150 again 
I have no pets or kids, I live in San Antonio TX and I work from home (argh!)
My body responds VERY well to exercise, yet I HATE IT! LOL
I have little stamina right now, little energy and I am just starting out with walking at about 2 miles an hour, maybe a little faster.
I'm doing Weight Watchers (whoo hoo!) and go to meetings once a week. I'd been on WW before and lost 15 lbs (in 2001) and now I'm in my second week after rejoining.
I tend to crave salty foods, I LOVE meat and potatos and I like to cook but hate cleaning up afterwards.
I eat out FAR too much and I'm trying to stop that.
My work is very sedentary -- I work online and also write, so you see where that goes, lol.
I have high cholesterol (199!) and I am trying to work on getting that down. I also have high blood pressure which is odd because it used to be VERY low when I was doing a lot of walking.
My fave food is chicken, I love steak, potatoes. I like salmon, shrimp, tilapia, tuna, sardines, clams. I am not too big on pasta. I LOVE mexican food! (My downfall!)
I'm Catholic and have recently started going back to church (trying to get lots of things in order, not just my weight
I tend to fall off the wagon during times of stress or if I am bored or sad. This is my huge stumbling block because I spend so much of the day working all alone in my apartment sitting at this computer. It sure takes its toll. I use food as a comfort much of the time. When I get a craving, I can get pretty upset until I have the thing I want. I don't know if it's crankiness due to low blood sugar or what.
If anyone out there can relate, please please reply here and we can chat more about it. I really need a buddy who is dedicated and who owns a good pair of boots to kick me with :P
