Lost and don't know where to start
 

I'm lost...... I new a this - writing on line- and don't know where to start. I've posted my bio in "depressed", but don't know what to do. I've tried to start reading, but have limited time here. I did really good last month by this month has started out bad. I need some cheerleaders other that family. I'm trying not to make them do as I do, but sometimes I just can't help but take a spoonful ( or 2 or 3, etc) of what I make for them. They do eat somewhat healthy, love veggies, etc. I'm also trying to strech meals for $$ reasons. Not a good idea, I know, but right now I'm doing what I can with what I have.

Is anyone else in this position?

In which position? Having kids and being broke. I'm there. :lol: I have a 14 year old daughter and an 11 year old son - and as far as what they eat? They eat what I do. I figured out about a year ago that if it wasn't good for me to eat it, what favor was I doing for my children by feeding it to them? Consequently no soda and very close to no junk in our house.

I'm also in the 180s and aiming for 135, and I'm in my 40s. You've found a GREAT place for support. Feel free to peruse the forums down in the support groups and if you find some folks you can relate to, jump in! Also, you might want to check out the journals. Great inspiration there every day. Ideas, recipes being posted, and thoughts which might help you, too.
