    Love the look of this site. So many posts, information and tips for me to research. I have finally managed to lose about 18 lbs over the last year which is staying off, but finding it hard to lose more. So far I have just really cut down on snacks and processed foods, and increased excercise. Tried to run, which I found too ambitious, so now gone back to brisk walking each day. Looking forward to learning new routines and tailoring my eating habits more, to hopefully lose more weight.
  • Welcome and congratulations on your losses so far. If you are thinking of doing running you my want to check out the couch to 5K program. I am not the running type yet I was in my 40s and able to complete it and run a 5K so if I could do it I am betting you can too. It revs you up slowly and safely into running. It is often abbreviated as C25K
