Hi all--

I'm new here, just joined today.

I've been overweight most of my adult life. I'm going to be 50 next year. My husband and I are also planning a big trip. I have a dual reason for losing weight/being healthier:

1) I'm tired of looking like a hot air balloon in my photos. I really want to like the way I look in photos.
2) I just want to be healthier overall.

Looking forward to finding some support and connect with others trying be healthier.

Hi, Laciye! I'm new here as well, and trying to get to know some of the other recent posters.

Where are you and your husband planning to travel to? We are looking at taking our kids on a cruise over the summer and it would just feel SO GOOD to be at my goal weight by then.
