New to 3FC, trying to find some support
Hey, I'm new to the idea of reaching out to others for support in this weight loss journey that we're all going through. I've had a pretty unhealthy relationship with food for most of my life, but three years ago I got diagnosed with an absorption disorder and when I got on the right diet and started feeling better, I started quickly gaining weight from the huge amount of food I was eating. I went from 180 to 260 in less than two months.
Now, I'm doing a little better, through all the shock of those major changes, but I find myself stuck in the 230s. As the weight piled on, it made me actually confront that my choices impact my weight, it wasn't all a disorder. I tend to switch from doing "all the right things" to not caring and binge eating whatever I feel like.
At this point, I just feel hopeless that I'll every actually really change. I'm looking to interact with some people who understand the challenges, and gain some insight from other's journeys.
