Years later, I’m back

And I pretty significant amount of weight back. I was here a lot back in 2012. Life had its many ups and downs and I put myself last through it all. Surgery, car wreck, so many moves, oh so many moves, couple heartbreaks, and a summer of traveling that ended very very badly, and my weight was all over the place during it all for last 7 years. I’m done putting myself last. So here I am.

Nice to meet you. I back today from 2014. Yours was the very first post I read. I'm glad I'm not alone and neither are you.

It is extremely common for people to lose a good chunk of weight and gain it back a few years later and then a bit more, it's never easy

Compare it to someone quitting smoking, they rarely succeed and often try dozens of times. A close friend of mine quit for 17 years and went back for a time before quitting again. I personally quit the cigs for a number of years then bummed a couple of cigs from a friend at a wedding, smoked a couple of years after that, quit again and have maintained that for 10+years. I smoked a pack a day for 20 years.none of this stuff is easy wether it is weight, tobacco, acohol, gambling or something more nefarious like heroin.

Whatever is your addiction, it ain't easy to fix it and relapsing is just about expected. I'm certain I'll never smoke anything again, in particular cigs, I can't even stand the smell of it. I'll make a possible exception for marijuana, every so many years I'll partake in getting high when a friend offers i
