Regainer relosing proudly
Hello there,
I was on this forum a few years back. Started in my 180s (I'm 5"2') and lost all the way to my 120s. Long story short, I've gained back some and now in my 140s. Most of the gaining happened when I was finishing my thesis, was really stressed and ready to do or ditch anything and everything to finish it. Of course I'm sad that I regained, but at the same time happy and relieved that I haven't regained more than this and that I've been stuck in the 140s for a couple of years now. But now I feel it's time for a change. I want to be healthier with better and lighter movement in my hobbies. I'm ok with the thought that I will be losing weight for the rest of my life, but would prefer that it was those last few pounds over and over again. I think my sweet spot is at about 123-128, would like to get there and stay in there this time. Now weighing 149.2 which is highest in a long time, so it's time to change the course. Thank you for your support last time and nice to meet everyone new! I don't remember even my username back then and on the other hand would prefer to start a fresh. |
Hi Doge - I like your profile picture! That is one dog who is aware of the camera for sure.
I was interested by your post title. I also am trying to re-lose weight that I lost once before. Well, I went from 218 to 178, then got a new job and gained 50 pounds - everything I had lost and more. I guess the bright side is, I know that with portion control, weight lifting, lots of biking, and no alcohol, I will be able to do it again. Bravo to you for only regaining some of what you lost! |
