New Here! Hello Everyone...
I am a 38 year old mother of 3. When I had my last two kids (almost back to back) I never lost the weight I had gained. I was at 240 then. That's been over 4 years now and I recently got on the scale to find I've managed to gain weight! I was at 258 and my old simple non-digital scale stops at 280, which scared the crap out of me that I was close to "tipping the scale". So, time for me to buckle down. I am going with a Mediterranean Diet. I have been doing that for the past week and have lost over 10 pounds. I'm guessing a large amount of that is due to a huge reduction in my sugar and salt intake. I'm imagining that the pounds after this will take a lot more time.
Very happy to have found this forum, and to find that it's active. I think it will be good for me to have some amount of accountability.
