Newbie with a large goal - please be gentle! :)
Hello, I guess this is where I introduce myself? :)
I've pretty much been on a "diet" my entire life, to some success...but I almost always end up giving in for one reason or another and find myself back to square one...and that's where I am right now. I exercise regularly but my relationship with food is where I constantly sabotage myself and so currently I am about 70lbs overweight (5 stones/32kg), possibly more...I have never honestly been in a healthy weight range so I'm unsure where my body is happiest but I'm hoping to find that out along the way! I've joined the forum here to find some people in a similar boat, as I don't feel like I have the best support network amongst friends and family right now and I think a little help would just boost me in the right direction. Welcome to the forum. It is a large goal but an attainable one with support, consistency, and finding the right plan for you to get there.
As of today I am down 93lbs since July 24, 2017 and I am a 62 year old granny! I have held onto my heavy weight since 1985 and have only now lost it. You CAN do this! Join one of the daily accountability threads (they tend to be the most active) and post daily! The support helps. |
