Hi everyone! I'm a 20-something web designer + developer who is relocating to Texas this summer, and I've finally decided that ENOUGH is ENOUGH w/ regards to my weight. I'm at about 200 lbs, looking to bring myself down to 150. I struggled a lot with restrictive eating disorders when I was a teen and it's taken a lot of work to convince myself that dieting doesn't = mental illness. I've thought a lot about it and I think intermittent fasting and a simpler diet is probably the best way for me to go. If I need to go more restricted on foods as I go along, I will, but I know that the best way for me to start is to just start. I want to build a healthy lifestyle and a healthy relationship with food so I don't just start this whole cycle over again once I lose the weight! I've only ever lost weight through starvation before, so this will be a unique challenge, but I know I'm up for it.

Hey Kate, my name is also Kate, well usually Katie and I am also a developer. Sedentary lifestyle doesn't help much with weight. I want to lose about 70 pounds and it is the biggest struggle of my life. Sometimes I feel so hopeless but we can never give up...we just have to keep trying every day.
