Slippery Slope

  • I am looking for a community to help hold me accountable for staying on plan . Over 6 years ago I weighed 223 and reached my goal of 130 . I am not doing well with staying on my WOE . I yo yo and get really worried about gaining my weight back. I am 156 last weigh in .

My body seems very comfortable around the 160 weight .

I am 5'3 . I need to be careful with my weight .

    My goal is 130 .

I use to thrive emotionally and weight ..doing Low Carb. I have not found my way back to sticking one day . Carbs seem to be my "Best Friend " lately.

I really could use some support ...and I will try my best to give some too
  • Welcome to the site!

You might want to check out the maintainers' forum here. I don't know how active it is, but there's a lot of helpful stuff in the older posts too.

130 sounds like a very healthy goal. Depending on your age and health status, 160 might be just as healthy (adults over 65 can have higher weights than adults under 65 and still be fine). If 130 is where you want to be, then it's good you're doing something about it now.

What specifically are you struggling the most with? Time, hunger, cravings, motivation, energy, etc. can all be challenging depending on the person and their situation.
