Hi! I just found this community so I haven’t done a ton of perusing yet. If I do anything completely out of the ordinary, that’s why.
I’m 32, married with 2 kids. I just started a 4 week diet bet to lose 4% of my weight. I thought it would be no biggie- to lose 8.6 pounds. But I’ve thought that before. I’m at the highest weight I can remember besides when i was pregnant with my 1st. And I jumped this high in not very long. I’m st 212 but starting weight would be 216.
My goal weight is 160 for now. My BMI may suggest I should be lower but I was 160 once and very happy in my skin. So that’s where I’ll start for now with my goal.
I usually get determined to start a diet or exercise program. Usually exercise program first where I don’t focus on my nutrition. With this diet bet I knew I didn’t want to lost my $20 (haha) and I’ve been actually doing incredibly well.
My goals include not exacting after 8:30pm, tracking calories, and eating these things called vegetables. Maybe you’ve heard of them?
I’ve already had the chance to fail a few times and although I haven’t been perfect, I’ve done really well. It’s only day 4 but for the first time I have a feeling this could be my moment to change. So glad you’re all here with me!
