Looking forward to much needed support
 

Hi Everyone,

This is a big step for me to be reaching out like this but I think it's time. I have had a successful 50lbs weightloss, it took years and it happened years ago. Although those 50lbs have long been gone, I have been stuck in a rut for the last 5 years and continue to be at least 40lbs overweight. I have been able to lose 15lbs using drastic measures but they always come back. Sometimes I'm happy with myself, lots of times I'm not.

Without getting into too much detail, over the past couple of weeks I have really been letting myself down. I'm not sticking to the healthy eating that I want to. I have not been exercising as much as I need to because I'm also a full time university student, but my weight is starting to take its toll on me physically and emotionally. I need to lose weight. I want to lose weight. I just cannot understand myself as to why I won't put the effort that I need to in.

With that being said, I am super hopeful that by reaching out, maybe I can be more accountable and feel supported in my journey.

Hey I know it can be hard at first but you have already done the hardest thing by putting yourself out there and reaching out to similar minded people ! :)

Know a lot of people (myself included) went through the same steps and it can be overcome.
