Hi..new to all this. I never had to diet before, as I was very athletic and always active. Due to feet issues that took me years to get manageable, I packed on 60+ extra pounds. I also found my health in bad shape due to the extra weight. And with the weight gain, I lost my self esteem, no motivation and blamed my feet instead of 'me'. A big losing spiral effect. Done with all the negative, and looking forward to all that is good for me.

Today I research and download a food journal, any recommendations for a user friendly journal?
I have used both "my fitness pal" and "lose it!" I think MFP has as bigger food data base. Welcome to 3fc!
