Hello

  • I don't really know what I'm doing but years ago I came across the 3fatchicks weight loss challenge, when the challenge was Callanetics. I could not join because it was only for locals but I found the blog very interesting. I'd like to join because gym and dieting makes me fatter. I think it's because its too formal and I don't enjoy the environment. Gym instructors are like army troops.
I'd rather do things the natural way. I swim, walk, Callanetics, Pilate's, Tae-bo and dance, but I have been chronically I'll for the past 3-5yrs. Please can you help me.
  • Hello, and welcome to 3FC!

There's lot of places here where you might find help. There's "Dieting with obstacles" section, for example. For me, I don't "diet" per-se, but I do have a lifestyle where I eat absolute no processed or fast food, and cook all my meals at home from scratch. I freeze or refrigerate leftovers for quick meals later. So I don't think you have to "diet" but you do have to adopt healthy lifestyle changes that you can incorporate for the long term.

Check out the different forum sections in the weight loss community and start posting away!

Let me tell you a secret.

In the gym, no one is going to pay to you as much attention as they pay themselves. Your worries are unfounded, I think. Moreover, the biggest, buffest, scariest dudes are usually the ones more willing to offer insight and advice.

I hope you do well on your journey!

  • Hello!!! It’s great that you joined this forum. Many people here share effective ways to lose weight. For example, I started losing weight when I began going to the gym less often (about 2–3 times a week instead of 5–6). I also started allowing myself to eat sweets from time to time. I recently read yoga go reviews and I’m thinking of starting outdoor yoga in the spring. Also, thanks to magnesium, I began sleeping better and my internal stress disappeared. That probably affected my body as well.
