Hi Everyone!!!
Well here I am...I just started counting caleries in the hopes that not only will I soon be lighter and healthier but in the hopes that I will be pain free in my left knee. My name is Denise and I am really looking forward to being a part of your group and having some unbiased support on my journey. I started this journy 2 weeks ago because I received an enail from my insurance provider about a special they have called real appeal...what I saw was "get free stuff" so of course I signed up! There was a stinulation to getting these free things, I had to attend 2 online classes before they woyld send it. So I downloaded the app and upon set up it asked for my weight...when I tell you I about fainted I mean that literally. I weighed 387 pounds. I have never weighed that much in my life. To say I am ashamed, that I am overwhelmed, would be an understatement. It was at that point that I decided that I would jump in with both feet and I would concur this weight problem once and for all. So that night I had what some may refer to as my last meal...I ate ice cream and pizza and everything I knew I would never eat (at least in those quantities) again. I attended my first session the next day and began counting caleries the next morning. Because of my weight I am allowed 2200 calories a day, which I am adhering to rather easily. After the first week I was down to 379 and this morning I weighed in for my second week and down to 372! I am so excited and so motivated! My first mini goal is to lose enough to fit into this stack of size 24 jeans that I havent worn in quite a while. I look forward to getting to know all of you and getting suggestions as I go along!
