Helloo All I'm new and need a support system!

  • Hi everyone!

So, I haven't been able to find like minded people for weightloss in a very long time.

Both times I have lost weight it was from having a partner like me.

I hope this site can help me and I can support others through our journey.

I gained a lot of weight 5 years ago due to Zoloft and since then I went from 160-230... Now I am at 218 where my weight has yo yoed (sp?) lol from 195-220 the past 5 years. I am 5'2 30 yrds old.

I have gone on new meds which have helped, I tried the whole 30, paleo, took up kickboxing (way too expensive as a teacher) $125 a month!!! Tried to hike/go to the gym at my condo.

I just bought an at home stationary bike and told my BF we are fat and need to do this.

He eats like a teenager and is somehow still losing weight.

Anyway! I hope some of you can offer me words of wisdom and if you have bought an at home machine if that has helped more???

    Thx, Cokes
  • I have recently discovered listening to podcasts while I exercise and it's made such a huge difference! I used to listen to music, but this is better for me because I'll keep going a little longer to hear the end. I defintely use them on the treadmill because the treadmill is BORING even if you're doing a challenging walk or run. If I try to read, I don't walk or run fast enough, and the machine is too loud to hear tv - so podcasts are perfect for me.

Good luck with your new bike!
  • What are your favorite podcasts? Can you get them on spotify? Thanks for responding!
