Starting over...again

Good morning!
Well, I am starting fresh once more with a much better attitude! (I hope!) In the past few years I was doing great in my weight loss journey. Got down to 270 and was feeling pretty decent. But in the past year, things started going downhill for me. I started to gain weight again and as of today, I'm up 40some lbs. :( It does NOT feel good! Tomorrow I am off to register at a gym to get my butt outta this chair and to do something about this extra fluff! :carrot: My plans were to go this morning but I woke up to my daughter not feeling well. I hope I can come here for support whenever I need. Which, I have a feeling will be quite often! :)

Rejuvenated, I know exactly how you feel. I feel like I've always been overweight. There were times when I was around the 160 - 170 mark and I'll kill to be back there again. I underwent a partial hysterectomy in 2008 and was around 195 lbs then. After a few months I was diagnosed with kidney cancer, had a kidney removed along with my ovaries and that's when I blew up! I went to 270 lbs in less than 6 months. I've been struggling with it ever since. I've managed to get down to around 228 but now am back up to, I don't know - but judging how tight my clothes are, I'd say 260. Good luck with your new journey! I know we can do it, it's just a matter of getting started!

Hello I am also starting afresh. I lost about 25 pounds last year and in approximately 6 months I put that weight back on. Food is definitely my downfall and especially those sweets.

I can relate to each of you. I lost 70 pounds a year ago. and then put 40 of it back on over the past year. It's crazy how hard we work to lose it, and how easy it is to put it back on. I joined this site a few weeks ago and appreciate the encouragement and ideas I get here.
