Hi Everyone!
I've visited this site many times for recipes but never became a member. I'm a mom of two and about 14 years ago I tried the SBD and had great results. Then I decided to quit smoking and that packed on the pounds. I've tried going back to the SBD and several other plans but I wasn't fully committed so they didn't work. I'm hoping that I can get the support and accountability I need by being a part of a group here. I have support at home but it's not the same as when you have someone who is traveling the same road you're on. I'm almost 50 and I stepped on the scale and weighed 250.4 this morning. I have no health issues at the moment but I know if I don't lose the weight I probably will in the future.

Hey there! You seem to have a very positive attitude, and a lot of support to get healthy, so I truly believe you will do great! Do you have a plan to get started?

No real plan, I'm going to go back to the beginning with the Southbeach diet and exercise. I've started biking with my daughter. I want to make small changes so they still and I won't get burned out. In the past I've always gotten frustrated because I wasn't seeing the results fast enough. I'm trying to change my mindset to slow and steady wins the race. I'm not very patient with my self so it's been difficult.
