It's time to kick my bubble butt into action
Hey ya'all!
I'm Jessica, 32 and ready to get my weight off. I'm a mom to two amazing kids. My son, McKinley is 10 and has high functioning autism with ADD and SPD and anxiety. But don't let that fool you, he's got an IQ of 110 and sure shows it. Kid is smarter than me! I also have a beautiful daughter, Addison who will be 2 on January 8th. She was our surprise baby and was born four weeks early. It doesn't stop her. She is just as smart as brother and just as sweet. I've been married to my husband McKinley Sr for almost 13 years (in April). We had a very rough last two years and we fought through it. I finally went to my doctor two months ago to get control of my diet and he gave me phetermine. I did well on it and lost 25lbs in a month. I went off for a while due to chronic bronchitis and multiple doses of steroids. I also was battling what I eventually turned out to be bipolar disorder. The doctor originally said it was severe PPD. But after speaking to me and my husband red flags shot up and it was screaming BIPOLAR!!!!! Could explain why antidepressants weren't working😑 I also suffer from SI joint dysfunction, arthritis of the left hip with weakness and widening of the hip bones. It's painful some days. I was on Vicodin but I recently took myself off it and feel so much better. I just stick with aleve. So that's a small bit. I have almost 200lbs to lose to get to my goal weight. A combo of eating wrong, medication and when I was depressed caused weight gain. I lost weight while pregnant so I can't blame the kids lol. Looking forward to meeting friends and losing weight with you all. |
Do you have a meal plan?
I know when my daughter was younger I hated seeing her food go to waste. So I would eat the edible left overs. Not saying you do that cause there's no way I could know that. However. I had to tackle my menu first as separate approach To exercise. While diet and exercise can be a one two punch to the scale. Caloric intake is biggest factor in loss and gain. For instance. I work in warehouse . Some of guys are very over weight. They work just as hard as the thin men. But when I go to lunchroom I see the difference isn't what they are eating. It's how much . They calories go well over the amount of work calories. So they continue to get bigger. It isn't necessary to be an athlete to lose weight. Especially if a person has health issues. But the calories Have to match. You simply must know your #s |
