Back on track ?!

Hello everyone :)
I've been on Google for the last few days trying to find an online support group with good vibes, and I think I found it!
This is the short version of my story:
I've been overweight most of my life. My highest was somewhere around 110kg/242lbs in my mid teens but managed to loose most of it(35kg/77lbs) in high school. That was about 12 years ago and during the last 3 years I've slowly started to put on the weight again and really struggling with motivation. In the past I've been able to lose alot of weight in a short amount of time and then be fine for a year or so. The last coulpe of years I have not been able to keep a diet/routine for more than 3 weeks, and it just kills me.
I'm 173cm/5'6 and currently weigh 91kg/200lbs and residing in Sweden. I'm turning 29 in may and my goal is to lose 20kg by then.

Hello!

I am new here myself and can totally relate to your post! When I graduated high school, I was 347 lbs; through diet and exercise I lost over 170 lbs over a 5 year period. Then life happened, I settled into a new city, new job, new surroundings and then my daily routine went out the window! Before I knew it, over the past 2 years, I have put back on over 50 lbs. After moving to this area, I still don't know many people and it's hard to regain the motivation I once had. In the past, I had a work out partner who would go to the gym with me every day after work. Now, I am barely motivated to make dinner.

I am looking to stick with something for the long term and setting short term goals seems to be the best way to do it. In July, I will be going on vacation and my "mini-goal" is to be under 200 lbs. Do you follow a specific diet or exercise plan? If so, what do you plan on doing? I am always looking for new ideas!

Happy new year :)
