Hello!

Where to begin.
My name is Melissa and I am an (almost) 32 year old mommy to 2 boys and (almost) step-mommy to 2 little girls and a boy. I'm getting married in July 2017. My journey here is not because I want to lose weight for my wedding, which will be a definite bonus, but because due to some health issues, medications, depression, anxiety, my weight has become something I have no control over. No matter what I did/do, it kept going up. It went up to a number that makes me want to curl up in a ball on the floor whenever I step on a scale. That is a horrible feeling. It's also a horrible feeling to put that much of your feelings about yourself into a number, which I also know. I'm now looking to take back some control over myself, and my feelings. Instead of feeling desperate and sad when I look in the mirror, I want to feel proud to know that I'm doing the best I can to be strong and healthy.

:welcome: I know it can be difficult to lose when you are dealing with depression and anxiety, but it is possible. You just have to try a little harder. :cheer2:

Hi there... I'm kinda new too... made my account a long time ago, but didn't do much... I also suffer from depression and anxiety. I recently experienced my first panic attack due to stress at my job. I ended up going to ER. I thought I was having a heart attack or something.

It may be a little more difficult, but we CAN do this. :)
