Hi, I'm Ruby, and I'm trying to lose weight. I'm disabled and have a lot of trouble walking; combined with PCOS, it's been extremely hard to lose weight. I finally hit my "rock bottom" when I bought a scale and, suspecting I was still somewhere around the 360s, realized I was 420 pounds. I joined a gym, bought a treadmill (which, ironically, I can't use until I lose some weight!), and have tried to make some healthier decisions regarding what I eat. It's really hard, though, and I feel like I could use some community support, or even a weight loss buddy who is in a similar situation.
I'm really excited about this forum and I hope I can get inspired by all of you to stick to my plan and shed the weight.
