Brand New

Hello! I'm 33 and new to the group. After having my children back to back to back, and after years of up and down weight gain and loss, I have become more determined to get healthier. I have PCOS, and am hypothyroid. Losing weight is hard. I have lost almost 40 lbs since November thanks to working with a weight management clinic and using medication. I'm now switching to new meds to help with insulin resistance and sugar control. So far, so good. I'm hopeful for a change for the better. I work out 3x/week or as much as I can. I like to be active, but find with my young kids, it isn't always the easiest to do.

The clinic I go to is great. We did a thorough body analysis and discovered that despite my height, my weight is "ideal" between 196 and 200 lbs because my bones are so heavy. The "big boned" thing is legit. At any rate, I'm looking forward to some changes.
