Hello. New to site and to posting, period.
I've been losing and regaining the same 10 pounds for the past 5 years. I'd like to lose 40 pounds, but would be thrilled with 30. Now that I'm in my 50's, I'm wondering if I will resemble the "shoebox greeting card" lady if I lose more than a few pounds. Never really had wrinkles before.... Name your poison, right? Thanks for taking the time to read this, I'm glad to be here.

Hi LuchMomma!
Yay for someone else apart from me worried about wrinkles! I lost a lot of weight in my 20s, the same and more in my 40s, and now doing it all again at 60. The last twice my skin was fine but this time, I'm not so sure! Every day when I put my make up on it seems the lines on my face (never had them before) get deeper and deeper..... Still, as you say, name your poison. If I have to settle for wrinkly to get slim, the so be it! Good luck! |
Wow! You are doing great! Look at you go! It's encouraging to see that a substantial amount of weight can be lost post-menopause. I'd read that it was almost impossible! Thanks for the encouragement and for taking the time to reply. :)
