Wow what a difference a year makes

  • Happy Wednesday,
Well a year ago I met the love of my life and we embarked on a journey of getting to know each other better...... and what's the best way to do that? Over food..... I had been dieting for a year and half and was at my lowest weight in years weighing in at 213lbs; now a year later I am 252lbs. OYE! Still with my man and we know enough about each other that going to dinner rarely happens, which is a good thing. I am struggleing though to stay on track (ok it's only been 13 days) but I was so motivated before and now I am STARVING!

I don't know if anyone else out there has felt this but seriously I just want to eat like "normal" people. I want to have those chips or cookies or whatever and not dread getting on the scale. Yes I have Hypothyroid, so I am sluggish anyway and my pre-diagnose weight was 360lbs.

I walk 1.5 -2 miles every morning and take my dog on 4 walks a day certainly not a jock or marathoner but it's more than I did last year, or even last month.. but it's the food....

I am a vegetarian trying to go back on the Ideal protein diet, which was a struggle before and I feel so lacking in food satisfaction. If the diet is out there, I've done it with little to no luck.
Anyway Ia m back looking for help and support in the community!

    Have a great day today!
