This is my first time in a weight loss forum. I've come here looking a community that might be on the same journey as me.
I have battled my weight ever since I was a pre-teen and have tried all sorts of diets and even suffered from an eating disorder in my teens. In my early twenties I discovered veganism and it changed my world. I was finally able to lose weight and keep it off. I maintained my baseline of 160 lbs. without even trying. However, I still craved meat, chicken, fish and would indulge every now and then.
When I got into my 30's, I found it was much harder to maintain my baseline and I gained about 5 lbs. every year, even though I basically had the same diet as in my 20's. My PMS symptoms also changed (more crying, shorter periods, more bloating, less cramps).
I know my body is going through changes and I'm now on a quest to find solutions for getting back to my baseline and finding balance in my changing hormones. I'm testing a few methods and Ill be happy to share my progress (and struggles) so that we can all find solutions. So glad to be here and to meet all of you!
