Started Optifast 800 two weeks BEFORE Christmas!
 

Hey y'all,

I'm new here. And I just started the Optifast 800 with my husband.

Instead of waiting until after the holidays (and giving ourselves plenty of time to pack on MORE weight), we decided to start during them.

This past weekend was crazy hard, but we survived! The only "cheating" we did was to eat tons of veggies.

I'm guessing we only added 100 calories or fewer each day.

About me: I'm a full-time math blogger and educational consultant (which means I help students, parents, companies and anyone else who needs assistance in math or education).

I have two kids, 6yo and 2yo, and am still working to get off that baby weight.

I am a runner, but haven't ran in about a month. I'm scheduled to do the 1/2 marathon mid-January in Houston, but I'm not sure how that's going to play.

800 calories a day isn't much to live on, much less run 13 miles on.

I'm excited to be here and hope to get some good support.
