Hi, came across this group while I was down the depression hole at 2am after a night of none of my clothes fitting. All you folks seem really nice and none judgmental. Hoping to get my feet wet and get back on track.
Quick Stats:) Currently 280 Smallest ever 220 (5yrs ago before 2 kids) Goal 200 Baby Goal 275 Have a supportive husband who will workout with me.. BUT if I say "i don't feel like it.. " he just lets me sit my butt on the couch.. He will eat healthy if I cook it.. BUT will order pizza if I ask. When I lose weight.. he looses weight.. if I gain.. he gains.. same story with my mom.. Ugh no pressure there huh?? Anyone need a check in buddy? I am hoping to do a 1 mile a day on the Walk of the Pounds DVD I got. |
Hi numberzchick! :welcome: You have come to the right place! This really is a wonderfully supportive and non-judgmental community. It's great that your hubs will work out with you, only it sounds like you need a little more accountability on the days you don't feel like working out. So I'm inviting you to join the August Exercise Challenge: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/chic...challenge.html. It may be mid-August, but people join all month long. On that thread, you set an exercise goal for the month and then log the exercise you do toward that goal. It makes it a little more difficult to slack off, and that's what we really want, even though we may not think so in the moment, lol! I'm also inviting you to join the sister thread, the August Weight Loss Challenge: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/chic...challenge.html. On that thread, we set a weight loss goal for the month and then record our weight each day or each week or at some interval with which we are comfortable. It is great for support, encouragement and accountability. Whether or not you join these challenges, know that you can do this! Onward and downward! Good luck!
